WordPress Installation

Let's start with our Theme Installation Process

Before getting started you need to be sure that you have installed the latest version of WordPress and Business Ezone WordPress Theme.

If you haven't installed WordPress yet. You can download Fresh WordPress for installation from Wordpress.org.

But, if you have already installed WordPress, Please make sure that you have the latest version of WordPress. If you need an update then you will get update notice on the left side of admin dashboard as shown in the figure below.

If you get such notification, you can just click on the link "Please Update Now". Once You press the button WordPress will be updated to latest version.

Theme Installation

There are two methods for the Installation of Business Ezone WordPress Theme.Among them, you can upload zipped theme file using WordPress Theme installer(which we recommend).You can also upload unzipped theme folder via FTP(which is advanced).

Here is the full step of installation of Business Ezone WordPress Theme using both methods.

First Method:

Step 1: Log In to your WordPress Theme and the Administrative Panel Opens.

Step  2: Go to Appearance > Themes in the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 3: Now click on Add Button

Step 4: Click on Upload button

Step 5: After that Click on Choose File Button

Step 6: Select the Business Ezone WordPress Theme.zip file from your computer then Click on Upload Button.

step 7: Finally, Click on Install Now Button.

Second Method:

Step 1: First of all Unzip the  "Business Ezone WordPress Theme.zip" file from your computer.

Step 2: To access your host web server Log In by using FTP Client.

Step 3: Locate the wp-content folder in your WordPress installation files.

Step 4: Upload the un-zipped Business Ezone WordPress Theme into the:wp-content/folder.

Theme Activation

Step 1: Log In to the WordPress Dashboard Admin Panel.

Step 2: Then, go to Appearance > Theme in the WordPress menu.

Step 3: Finally, Hover over the thumbnail and click on Activate Button.

Home Page Setup

To add a new page

You must first create a new page to set up the homepage.

Step 1: First go to Pages > Add New.

Step 2: Enter the Page Title of the Page. For creating a homepage do not require to enter anything in the content section.

Step 3: Select the homepage template from the Page Attributes section.

Step 4: Click on Publish Button.

Configure of the front Page display setting

Step 1: First go to Appearance>Customize > Default Settings> Static Front Page.

Step 2: Select A Static Page below Front Page Displays.

Step 3: Choose the page you just created as Frontpage.( If your WordPress installation is fresh you do not need to follow this step).

Step 4: Click Save & Publish button.

Site Identity

To set up site identity

Step 1: Go to Appearance > Customize > Default Setting > Site Identity.

Step 2: Click Select Logo button.

Step 3: Select and Upload the desired image.

Step 4: Enter the Site Title and Tagline.

Step 5: Check Display Header Text for the site title and tagline appear on your homepage.

Step 6: Click Select Image below Site Icon.

Colors

To set up background colors

1.Firstly go to Appearance > Customize > Default Settings > Colors.

2.By clicking on respective Select Color button change the Background Color.

3.Finally, Click on Save & Publish button.

Background Image

To set background image

1. Firstly go to Appearance > Customize > Default Settings > Background Image.

2.Click Select Image button.

3.Select and Upload a background image.

4.Click Save & Publish Button.

Homepage Setting

Slider Setting

Activate Slider

1. Go to Appearance > Home Page Setting > Slider Setting.

2.To show the featured slider the homepage check Enable Home Page Slider.

3.Select the post that you want to display in the slider.(slider images displayed will be the selected post of featured images).

a.Featured image of the post should be at least 1140px in width and 550px in height for displaying slider images properly.

b. If you have uploaded any image use regenerate thumbnail Plugin to crop all the images.

4.Click Save & Publish.

Slider Setting

Configuration of Slider

1.For the slides transition automatically (auto scroll) without a click. Check Enable Slider to Auto Transition.

2. To continue the slide transition in the loop, Check Enable Slider Loop.

3. To allow manual navigation for paging control of each slide, Check Enable Slide Control.

4.To Show the title of the post to appear on the slider post image, Check Enable Slider Caption.

5.To show the tiny thumbnail feature images of the slider Posts to appear at the bottom, Check Enable Slider Thumbnail.

6. Select the Slider Animation type to "slide" or "fade".

7.To set the text of the button, Enter the Readmore text.

8.Enter Slider Speed: It set the Interval(in milliseconds) at which the slider should change posts (if an automatic transition is enabled). Default: 400(0.4 seconds).

9.Click Publish Button.

Home page Setting

  1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Setting > Featured Section.
  2. Check  .
  3.  Check  
  4. Select a Featured Post 1, 2 and 3 for featured section. The Title and the excerpt of the selected page will appear as a description of the section on the page.
  5. Click on Publish Button.

Welcome Section

  1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Setting > Featured Section.
  2. Check  .
  3.  Click on Publish Button.

Note: Selected Thumbnail and Content will be shown as featured thumbnail and content on Home page.

Blog Section

  1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Setting > Blog Section.
  2. Check  .
  3. Check Show Posts Date, Author, Comment, Category display post date, author, comment, category.
  4. Choose Select Page for title and description of  Blog section.
  5. Choose Select Category for displaying posts in this Blog section. If a category is not selected, default post will be displayed.
  6. Enter Blog Section Read More Text for button text on Read More button.
  7. Enter Blog Section URL for Read More button url.
  8.  Click on Publish Button.

Note: Selected Thumbnail and Content will be shown as featured thumbnail and content on Homepage.

Services Section

  1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Setting > Services Section.
  2. Check  .
  3. Check  
  4. Choose Select Page for title and description of  Services section.
  5. Select a Services Post 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6  and Select a Services Font Icon  1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and for Services section. The Title and the excerpt of the selected page will appear as a description of the section on the page.
  6. Enter Services Section Read More Text for button text on Read More button.
  7. Enter Services Section URL for Read More button url.
  8. Click on Publish Button.

CTA Section

  1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Setting > CTA Section.
  2. Check  .
  3. Choose Select Page for title and description and featured thumbnail as background of  Services section.
  4. Enter CTA Section Read More Text for button text on Read More button.
  5. Enter CTA Section URL for Read More button url.
  6. Click on Publish Button.

Portfolio Section

  1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Setting > Portfolio Section.
  2. Check  .
  3. Choose Select Page for title and description for Portfolio section.
  4. Select a Portfolio Post 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6  for Portfolio section. The Title and the excerpt of the selected page will appear as a description of the section on the page.
  5. Enter Portfolio Section Read More Text for button text on Read More button.
  6. Enter Portfolio Section URL for Read More button url.
  7. Click on Publish Button.

Teams

  1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Setting > Teams Section.
  2. Check  .
  3. Choose Select Page for title and description for Teams section.
  4. Select a Post Category for Teams section. The Title and the excerpt of the selected page will appear as a description of the section on the page.

Testimonial

  1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Setting > Testimonial Section.
  2. Check  .
  3. Choose Select Page for title and description for Testimonial Section.
  4. Select a Post Category for Testimonial Section. The Title and the excerpt of the selected page will appear as a description of the section on the page.
